Alicia J. Turner is dedicated to being the leading voice for all children.
She found her literary voice by writing and speaking about real-life
topics that are relevant to both children and adults, yesterday, today, and tomorrow.
Alicia is the author of two children books, the popular story
Hey Ugly - Turning Self-Doubt into Self-Belief.
A 2015 self-published children's book dedicated to
acknowledging childhood teasing attributed to bullying
and the lasting impression towards a child's self-esteem.
In 2017, Alicia published her second children's book
Pinky Promise - Breaking the code of silence.
She dedicates this publication to
the prevention of child sexual abuse.
A native of New York,
Alicia now resides in North Carolina
with her husband and their son.
